Went back to get a healing rune for my druid. Had to pull 5 ogre warlocks and let em cast attack me for almost 30 mins before they could land a curse on me so I could decurse myself

i don't have time to finish the video but i hate sod because they f-ed up all classes. i don't give a f about new skills (in contrary, i absolutely dislike them, all of them). classic ruined basically. instead of improved. waiting classic plus... if they don't hear retail kid recommandations to implement and try to fuse communities. classic players don't want to do anything with cheap retail players.

I see more people in sod than anywhere in classic or cars at this time. I guess depends on the server.

Not a single youtuber or streamer has said that problem is pvp. U all behave like it dont exist if u every want a healthy wow it must have pvp because thats 50% of game

well I tell you what bringing back 40 man raids wont be the answer, I hope most of the raids are 20ish

@sarthe you didn't mention shaman. You realize that these new mega servers will see most high end alliance players go to the pve server and raid log. As bad as hunter Narnia kills and rogue stunlocks are... running into a geared shaman of any spec is like running into a level 70 in sunwell gear.

More pvp to do. If you are big into pvp you only have stuff to do for like 1-3 weeks each phase

Biggest reason for me, that im not playing SoD after Phase 3, was that i didnt feel like grinding all the Runes on a new toon.

The last part about horde v alliance differences at the top 0.01% is just fking childish. Tired of these youtubers destroying the mmo style community on this game. Just Let there be inbalance. It's way more fun that way. I'm alliance btw. Always was, always will be.

I havent even logged in since i cleared sunken temple the first 2 runs I just can't really be bothered to be honest after seeing what old school rune scape pulls off and how wow just really fails to deliver Sod 1-2-3 was great for me though, loved it but i'm just a bit done with wow and it's re-runs of classic. Couldn't care less about war within and retail in general though Never gonna bother coming back to retail If eventually classic + finally happens i will jump back into it, for now im just sick of the same classic iteration of the game over and over again. It gets old!!

The only thing the devs really did wrong was delay P4 for Cata. If they had released P4 first, everyone would have been fine with the content drought. P3 was a content desert. The only way they recover players now is with: - a major hype announcement for P5 - a concrete plan to save our characters as they are when the season ends

P4 already peaked. There is nothing to do ingame if u only wanna play SoD. Give us 1v1 arena.

Wpvp is just so bad. Way too low of hp compared to the damage people are doing.

I'm levelling as someone who only played P1 and it's actually really shit trying to catch up. There are no items on the AH or they're super expensive. There are no people running dungeons or lvling in general. Lvl 32 and still running lvl 14 weapons... There is actually no way to get gear it's like playing HC, unfortunately I did not realise that and so have played without realisation that I need to do a HC style questing route to focus on quest rewards rather than efficiency. Further you just don't make enough gold either. You out pace zones and gear so fast there is no way to catch up because you out scale zones so quickly so unless you target a specific quest chain you can't get deep enough for the really good rewards. Further I have not done a single dungeon and there is nobody doing anything low level. The AH the other day literally had 3 daggers. As a rogue I can't even run dagger spec because there are no weapons for me to get that are any decent or affordable. I thought it'd be a lot more cruisy than what it has turned out to be. Since the raid loot was so good nobody needs open world greens so you pay a stupid premium for what is ultimately junk nobody wants or can be bothered selling on the AH.

Reps on your "main" should apply to all alts as should your PVP rank. Easy.

I learned a valuable lesson, I only enjoy leveling in classic wow, the end game is a drag. Tier .5 quests? Sucked. Finding groups for dungeons? Sucks. Waiting 30 mins for players to travel to dungeon? Sucks. Attacking ragnaros with melee breaks your weapon and no one has a repair bot? Sucks. Every good drop in the game is “hard reserved”? Sucks. Classic wow end game? Sucks. Edit: Bots farming the game 24/7? Sucks. Players buying gold to get boosted in Dire Maul? Sucks. Okie, I’m done ✅ 😅

tbh phase 3 absolutely killed sod. It was so unbelievably boring with the worst "features" and for some reason they even stretched it over a few month. My whole guild quit because of this shit and none of them believed in phase 4, because blizzard did just a horrible job with p3

I've seen that run ... :) 99% of ppl won't enjoy that game play when you get told : "decurse ,use resto potions range, melee fap , I will use Rage pot':))) old 2019 classic alliance had huuge advantage on horde, that did not make horde not playable... if you only play this game all the time , everytime just for numbers , well ... i suppose ye. move horde side

Classic has always had horde vs alliance disadvantage, guilds in classic went alliance for salve. This only matters for the handful of guys trying to be #1 in a fight, doesn't apply to 99.9% of players

I think when you factor in how long phase 3 lasted so they could let p4 cook, they let the pkayer base die off, and to get them back they were going to have to make the game amazing to bring those who moved on to other games back. Look what we got however for that extra time. An event that is just daily kill quests. Then the same raid we been doing since 2005 with so little changed in the design of the mechanics. We want classic reimagined, that is not whats delievered.

Dont lie sarth it had nothing to do with gatekeeping and everything to do with the way gnomer was built you were required to have 2 min 4 pref ranged dps so you already are fighting for 2 or 3 melle dps spots

too many buttons to press maybe the issue. As for horde vs alliance its not about being top of logs for most its just killing bosses for treasure and loot these guys who get boosted to 60 then go nuts there is no content

Even their approach to design, “oh this new dungeons was just some side project of some dev and we were like this is a dungeon now” like you didn’t have any intent to design a new dungeon? You just happened upon some scrap work and said good enough? How about sit down and make something with intent.

Thoroughly disagree about finding pugs, on EU servers theyre pugs being advertised all day every day.

My biggest complaints about sod - Sunken temple was way too hard for pugs. I guarantee the difficulty of ST is what killed phase 3, not incursions. Gnomer was borderline too hard. P1 was 🔥 because everyone could pug BFD

I think the best is yet to come. They've got a lot of room. It's just bad timing with Cata and retail. The folks still playing SOD want nothing to do with retail.
